Originally, our Tai Chi classes started as part of special interest classes for adults that were offered in the evenings at high schools in Oakville and Grimsby. Since the classes were only offered during the school year, they consisted of two sessions of ten week classes. Many students expressed an interest in attending classes year round. This led to the creation of our schools, which are run as an independent, small business.

Both schools were opened in  January 1997. The school in Grimsby has classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The school in Oakville, which had classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings, was permanently closed on June 30, 2004.

With the exception of some holidays, classes run year round at the Grimsby location.

She began studying Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong in 1986, and has been teaching these arts since 1993. She teaches all the classes at our school. In addition to her martial arts background, she has a BA in Psychology from the University of Guelph, a B.Ed. from Nippissing University College, and a Ph.D. in Martial Sciences from Eurotechnical Research University.
